Duda signs Malaga renewal

Malaga have confirmed that Duda has extended his contract until 2016, with the option of a further year.

The Portuguese midfielder, who turns 35 in two weeks, was free to leave La Rosaleda as his deal had expired, but the club have now stated on their website that an agreement has been reached for their captain to stay put.

A Press conference has also been scheduled for 12:00 BST on Monday, which will see the player [pictured, left] publicly announce his renewal to the Spanish media.

Duda initially joined Malaga in 2001, before leaving for Sevilla five years later, returning to the club in 2008 and becoming their record appearance holder with 305 official matches.
