Nike have presented the new football that the Primera Division will use from next season, featuring a new visual design.
Decorated in orange and turquoise, the new ball La Liga will be handling for 2013-14 has been named the Nike Incyte by its manufacturers.
Promising ‘better vision and more powerful strikes’, the ball is described as having ‘micro-textured casing for improved ball handing’ and ‘depth-enhanced performance graphics to help catch peripheral vision and engage central vision quickly’.
The ball is also presented as having a finer geometric precision for even distribution of pressure, to enable ‘consistent, accurate and powerful strikes’, and a ‘perfect sphericity for faster, further and more accurate ball flight’.
