Edinson Cavani has commented on ‘false rumours’ surrounding him and his urgency to talk to Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The Uruguayan forward has been increasingly linked with a move away from the Stadio San Paolo this summer, with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea said to be vying for his signature.
“I love Napoli, it is my city and my heart is there, but while I was in Brazil I heard false rumours and things about me,” Cavani reflected to reporters.
“So I want to talk as soon as possible with President De Laurentiis.
“We have to make clear on things between us. I will talk to him man to man as soon as possible.”
