Edinson Cavani has admitted that he did not like Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis’ comments over the weekend regarding his future.
The Uruguayan is the subject once more this summer of a possible exit from the Serie A side, with Real Madrid seen as up against Manchester City and Chelsea for his signature.
De Laurentiis used forceful expressions on Italian radio over the weekend when asked of his expectations over the 26-year-old’s future this summer and the striker has now responded.
“Those statements were strong and I didn’t really like them very much,” Cavani told reporters today.
“Now I want to speak with the President face-to-face, as I have done on numerous occasions in the past.”
