Jese offered first team role

Real Madrid will reportedly double Jese Rodriguez’ salary and offer him a place in the first team squad as part of contract negotiations.

The club are seen as looking to extend the young forward’s current deal this summer, as it expires in June 2014.

AS understand that talks with the 20-year-old, who scored 22 goals for Castilla last term, have seen the club table a salary proposal of €1.2m a season, more than doubling his current earnings.

Los Blancos are also reportedly prepared to include the attacker, who has earned comparisons in playing style with Cristiano Ronaldo, a spot in the senior squad for next season.

Earlier this year Jese complained publicly about his lack of playing opportunities at the Santiago Bernabeu and hinted that it may convince him to move elsewhere.
