Gonzalo Higuain’s move to Arsenal looks to be on the verge of completion, after reports in the English media confirmed the striker has agreed terms.
The Guardian have claimed that the Real Madrid forward has agreed, in principle, to a four-year contract with the north London club, thought to be worth around £130,000 per week.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with Juventus and Tottenham closely linked with the striker.
But Arsene Wenger’s team look set to capture the 25-year-old in a £20m deal.
Higuain played 28 times for Los Blancos last term, scoring 16 goals.
