Arsenal are reportedly leading a number of clubs interested in picking up Real Sociedad’s Spain Under-21 international Asier Illarramendi.
On from playing a key role in his club side’s run to Champions League qualification last season, the central midfielder’s performances for La Rojita at this summer’s UEFA Under-21 Championship have reportedly caught the eye.
A number of clubs are said to be interested, but the Daily Mail speculated that it is Arsenal who are ‘leading the way’ for the €12m-rated youngster, ahead of Real Madrid.
