Marco Verratti has reflected that Carlo Ancelotti’s expected switch to Real Madrid does not increase the chances of him moving too.
The young Italian was brought to Paris Saint-Germain last summer at the request of Ancelotti, who a year on is looking to cut from his contract and take the Coach’s position at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, even if Ancelotti does make the move, his playmaking midfielder has dismissed that it makes his exit all the more likely.
“I’ve seen that Ancelotti wants to go to Real Madrid,” commented Verratti to Rai today.
“If so, I will be happy for him, but my future is not linked to that of the Coach. I feel linked to Paris Saint-Germain and I want to stay here.”
Madrid have been linked with making a move for Verratti this summer, at the request of Ancelotti.
