Cristiano Ronaldo has offered brief comment denying that any truth to reports relating to his contract situation with Real Madrid.
President Florentino Perez has suggested recently that the 28-year-old is keen to extend his current deal beyond its 2015 expiry, in spite of rumours that other clubs are preparing counter transfer offers this summer.
Whilst reports today list Madrid as readying a €166m offer to try and tempt the player into renewing, he has come out via his official Twitter account to briefly clarify the situation.
“All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false,” posted Ronaldo on Thursday afternoon.
