Madrid-Juve start Higuain talks

Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Juventus counterpart Andrea Agnelli will today talk over the possibility of the transfer of striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Officials from the Bianconeri have previously thought to have reached an agreement with the Argentine striker’s representatives over a possible move this summer, but up until now have not spoken with Madrid.

However, Juve President Agnelli will reportedly initiate talks with Los Blancos counterpart Perez, over a lunch meeting today.

The pair and a number of other delegates have been pictured today on Twitter by several Italian publications.

The meal they are attending is officially held ahead of this evening’s charity match between two teams of legends representing each side, but it is assumed that the meeting will also see Higuain brought up.

The forward has already expressed his desire to leave, whilst his father and agent has indicated that it will not be reversed.
