AS have it that Raul Gonzalez’ current side Al-Sadd will be the opponents for Real Madrid’s Trofeo Bernabeu this summer.
Raul, who spent 16 years at the Santiago Bernabeu and is still the club’s all-time record appearance holder and goalscorer, is currently based in Qatar with Al-Sadd.
Reports this week have suggested that Los Blancos are preparing to welcome back the 35-year-old this summer, via the annual Trofeo Bernabeu match played every year.
AS have it today that the Qatar League champions have an agreement to be Madrid’s opponents for this year’s game, which is set to be played on August 19 or 20.
