Valencia midfielder Tino Costa has reached an agreement to join Spartak Moscow, Cadena COPE has announced.
Talks between the clubs are understood to be at an advanced stage with the fee for the Argentine international believed to be around €7m.
Costa [pictured, left] is due to undergo a medical with the Russian club on Monday and bring to an end his three seasons at Mestalla, having joined from Montpellier for €6.5m in July 2010 on four-year contract.
The 28-year-old, who made 84 La Liga appearances for Los Che and scored 10 goals, was on the verge of signing for Spartak before the start of last season when they were coached by former Valencia boss Unai Emery, now in charge at Sevilla.
It is reported that Costa will pen a four-year deal at the Luznikh Stadium.
