Fabregas to hold Tito talks

Cesc Fabregas will hold talks with Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova over his future, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The midfielder wants to know if he is definitely in Vilanova’s plans for next season before he finally rejects offers from Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal to return to the Premier League next season.

The 26-year-old returned to Barca, where he spent his formative years, from Arsenal in August 2011, but after a bright start some inconsistent form last term has led to some speculation that La Blaugrana may be willing to let him leave.

Fabregas’ agent, Darren Dein, has told any prospective suitors they must hang fire for at least the time being while the player finds out if he still has a major role to play at the Camp Nou, having missed out in some of the most important games last year.

Catalan-born Fabregas is keen to continue his career at Barca, but if he feels he could be consigned to being a bit-part player in Vilanova’s squad then he would be open to plying his trade in England again.
