Barcelona are reportedly happy to allow Thiago Alcantara to decide on his own if he wants to leave this summer or not.
The midfielder’s buyout clause is seen as having dropped from its usual €90m mark down to €18m this summer, due to a clause being activated on the player having failed to play in at least 60 per cent of the games he has been eligible for.
The situation has subsequently reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Mundo Deportivo understand that Barca officials are keen to keep hold of Thiago for next season, but will not try to renew his contract to eliminate this particular low buyout clause.
Instead, the club are seen as waiting on Thiago to make his own decision on his future, to determine if he wants to stay at the Camp Nou or not.
