‘PSG don’t want to let Ancelotti go’

FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti says PSG are putting in Real Madrid’s way for Carlo Ancelotti, whilst the chances of Gonzalo Higuain leaving are pretty high.

Madrid are seen as pushing to sign Ancelotti as their Coach for next season to replace the departing Jose Mourinho, but the Italian must first find a way out of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

For his agent, the process is proving difficult because of the French side’s resolve.

“I am working to bring Ancelotti to Madrid’s bench. It is the third time that I will try, it is my dream, but it is difficult because PSG do not want to let him go,” commented Bronzetti to Sky Italia today.

“In two or three days we will be in Paris to try and break the deadlock. He decided that he wanted to leave a while ago, when his future was in doubt in December.

“Now PSG is putting obstacles in his way as they have no alternative. They wanted Mourinho, but he is going to Chelsea, and now they want to keep Ancelotti.

“I do not make predictions because this is an issue that I see and it is not good.”

Bronzetti is also involved in negotiations between Juventus and Real Madrid for Gonzalo Higuain.

“There is a 50, 60 or even 70 per cent chance of him joining Juventus. I am certain he will leave because he has expressly asked.

“Madrid will certainly go on to replace him, for his age and technical value.

“[Director general Beppe] Marotta, [sporting director Fabio] Paratici and [Coach Antonio] Conte came to Madrid, we have talked, they are talking about it, we shall see.”

Another rumour is that Madrid will move for Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.

“Madrid have not done a deal for Cavani, they are simply monitoring his situation, nothing else.

“My opinion? A feeling, I believe that in the end the boy will stay where he is.”
