Borussia Dortmund Coach Jurgen Klopp has denied that Real Madrid target Robert Lewandowski is on the verge of a move to Bayern Munich.
One of the Polish striker’s representatives yesterday claimed that the player ‘will join Bayern this summer’, seemingly ending Madrid’s reported late bid for his signature.
However, the player’s current Coach has indicated that no deal has been struck between Dortmund and the club that defeated them at the weekend in the Champions League Final.
“The situation today is that there is no official offer from Bayern Munich,” Klopp told Bild on Tuesday.
“I assume that Robert will play next season with us.
“During the next few days we will put an end to such speculation.”
