New Monaco signing James Rodriguez has seemingly confirmed that international teammate Radamel Falcao will join him in the Principality.
James recently completed a move from Porto to the Stade Louis II alongside teammate Joao Moutinho in a joint €70m deal.
Atletico Madrid’s Falcao is rumoured as at Monaco this week to also complete a €60m transfer and his potential new teammate is already assuming the move is complete.
“Obviously it is great. I have already played with him and now we are going to be together and that will also be good,” James told Colombian outlet Tiempo this week.
The playmaker is a colleague of Falcao’s at international level and previously played with alongside him for a season together at Porto.
“I am proud to be with a friend and to hopefully win big things.
“Monaco are going to do something big, something good.
“Both Falcao and I may achieve great things.”
