Fabio Cannavaro says that he would ‘run’ to Real Madrid if prospective new Coach Carlo Ancelotti asks him to join.
The retired defender is the latest name to be linked with joining Ancelotti’s backroom staff at the Santiago Bernabeu, should the Italian Coach manage to get out of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.
When asked of the speculation, the former Parma, Inter and Juventus defender, who spent three years at Madrid as a player, was enthusiastic.
“If Real Madrid and Carlo were to call, I’d run to them,” he told Italian news agency ANSA today.
