Monaco are reportedly monitoring Diego Lopez’ situation at Real Madrid, apparently prepared to come in with an offer.
The 31-year-old has been reported this week as prepared to hand in a transfer request at the Santiago Bernabeu amid the expectation that whoever replaces Jose Mourinho as Coach will restore Iker Casillas to the starting line-up in his place.
AS say that it is a situation that Monaco are aware of and that they see him as a suitable option to go for this summer.
The recently promoted Ligue 1 side, with billionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev, are seen as looking to heavily invest in the summer transfer window and have otherwise been linked with a move between the sticks for Barcelona’s Victor Valdes.
