Galatasary President Unai Aysal has revealed that Atletico Madrid intend to keep hold of three players this summer at all costs, including Arda Turan.
Gala have been linked with making a bid to bring back the playmaker to Turkey this summer, but in reflecting on apparent interest from Chelsea, their President has asserted that Atleti will not be prepared to listen to offers below his €24m buyout clause.
“We wanted to take him back, but Chelsea are also interested in Arda and we will not be able to match the amounts that they are offering,” began Aysal to Milliyet today.
“I met with the President of Atletico Madrid. Enrique Cerezo told me that the club have three players who they will definitely not sell, and one of them is Arda Turan.”
