Juan Carlos Valeron has rejected the notion that he will leave Deportivo in the summer, asserting that he is yet to make a decision.
The 37-year-old was rumoured to be using today’s Press conference to explain why he wanted to leave Riazor after 13 years, after Coach Fernando Vazquez said earlier in the week that this was his intention.
However, the creative midfielder has made clear that nothing is decided just yet.
“I have not yet taken a decision,” Valeron confirmed to reporters today.
“We are in a very important moment for the club and before talking about my future I will have to talk to the President and the Coach.
“When I have something to say I will tell you.
“With the Coach I have not yet spoken about my future. His belief is based more on an intuition than on anything I have said.
“After that I have spoken to him and nothing has happened, it did not bother me. I know Fernando well and I know there was no malice or intent to cause controversy with what he said.”
