Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, according to reports in the Spanish Press.
AS have claimed that the capital club are keen to bring the Belgium international to Vicente Calderon as a potential replacement for Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian forward looks set to leave the Rojiblancos this summer, with Monaco, Manchester City and Real Madrid all linked with the goalscorer.
And according to the Madrid-based newspaper, the 22-year-old is someone they can see leading the line next term.
Benteke has been a revelation in his first season in the Premier League, scoring 19 goals to guide the Midlands club to safety. He could be available for a fee of around €15m.
