Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri has admitted that he would love the chance to coach Radamel Falcao next season.
The Atletico Madrid forward has been heavily linked with a move to the French club, and the Italian tactician has conceded that the Colombian would be a great addition to his squad.
“Who would not want a player that good?” he asked reporters. “We all hope that he can play with us.
“If that happened, we could really start building for the future.
“I do not think the problem is an economic one for us. But he has a contract at Atletico.
“My objective for Monaco is to make the Champions League – and I do not see why that can't happen next season.”
