Espanyol boss Javier Aguirre believes his side can make the Europa League places come the end of the season.
The Periquitos are currently 11th in the table, eight points behind Real Betis in seventh with three games to go.
But the Mexican Coach has claimed that a win over Deportivo on Sunday could kickstart something special.
“We can still aim for Europe,” he told a Press conference. “But we have to give it our all.
“We must fight, fight, fight. After last weekend's game against Madrid I told the team they had set the bar high and could not go under it.
“My duty is to not let that happen.
“But it will be tough against Deportivo. Riki is a great player, but everyone in their team can stand up against ours.”
