Philippe Montanier will reportedly tell Rennes after Real Sociedad’s game this weekend whether he will accept an offer to be their Coach next season.
The Ligue 1 outfit are understood to have offered the Frenchman a three-year deal to return to his native country, as talks over a renewal at La Real continue to stall.
Whilst Montanier, who has the Basque outfit on the verge of Champions League qualification, is seen as in agreement with Real Sociedad over a new deal, nothing has been signed yet and Rennes are apparently causing the 48-year-old to hesitate.
Reportedly with the guarantee that the French can also bring in assistant Michel Troin, Montanier is understood to be ready to give Rennes a definitive yes or no answer this weekend, after Real’s Saturday match at Sevilla.
