Ancelotti: Future is 50-50

Real Madrid target Carlo Ancelotti has opened the door once more on staying with Paris Saint-Germain, commenting that his future is ‘50-50’.

Los Blancos are reportedly keen to take the Italian tactician to the Santiago Bernabeu for next season, but are struggling to release him from the final year of his contract with PSG.

It is a situation that they have apparently told the Coach to fix himself, just as PSG look to involve Cristiano Ronaldo in potential negotiations.

Talking to L’Equipe today, Ancelotti reflected on his future and its uncertainties.

“I have not had contact with Madrid, nor their sporting director or the President,” firstly affirmed the 53-year-old.

“Of course there is the possibility that I will stay. Today the situation is 50-50.”

Ancelotti confirmed he will meet with PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi at the end of this week.

“I am well integrated here and am not a person who likes change. I was disappointed when I had to leave Chelsea and if I were to leave PSG then I would inevitably feel a little sad, that is normal.

“In the meantime, I want to clarify everything. This applies to everything that happened in the season. We managed a lot of things, some beautiful and some less beautiful.”
