Inter are reportedly waiting for Barcelona to renew Martin Montoya’s contract before coming in with a loan offer for next season.
The young defender has reportedly caught the eye of a number of teams including Liverpool and Real Betis, with the Italians said to be leading the way and contemplating an offer this summer.
Whilst they originally were seen as only after a permanent move for the Barca full-back, who can also play centre-back, reports in Italy and Spain today believe that they have come around to the Catalans’ idea of sending the player out on loan only.
With the 22-year-old currently out of contract in June 2014, Inter are understood to be waiting for Barca to hand the player a renewal before requesting him on loan for 2013-14.
