However, Sport report that Neymar has been told by close advisors to not take up Madrid on any offer that may come his way, as he would risk following in Robinho’s footsteps.
Robinho left Santos for the Santiago Bernabeu in 2005 but departed for Manchester City three years later after relations with then President Ramon Calderon broke down over stalled contract renewal talks.
