Ramos out for two weeks

Tests carried out this week have reportedly confirmed that Sergio Ramos will be out for the next two weeks for Real Madrid.

The defender was rumoured to have suffered an injury in the closing stages of Madrid’s Champions League elimination to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday after a collision with the Germans’ goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.

Having sat out training for the past two days, the defender has apparently been revealed in tests to have suffered an injury to his hamstring and that it should keep him out of action for the next two weeks.

This period of recovery could see Ramos back in time for when Madrid face Atletico Madrid on May 17 in the Copa del Rey Final.
