Inter are reportedly interested in taking Real Madrid’s Luka Modric on loan next season, with an eye on a 2014 permanent transfer.
The Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport both suggest that Modric, who is just coming to the end of a debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu, is top of Inter’s transfer wish-list this summer.
The Italian publications speculate that the Nerazzurri are keen on taking the 27-year-old playmaker on an initial 12-month loan, with the view to then buying him outright in the summer of 2014.
Madrid paid €35m to Tottenham Hotspur for the Croatian international just last summer.
