Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was reportedly in Barcelona on Wednesday to discuss possible deals for Martin Montoya, Alexis Sanchez and Marc Bartra.
The Corriere dello Sport are running the line that Ausilio was in Catalonia this week to take in La Blaugrana’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern, where he spoke to club officials about possible summer activity.
Reports in recent weeks have it that the Nerazzurri are looking at both versatile defender Montoya, whose contract expires in June 2014, and Alexis, who has struggled to impress in two years at the Camp Nou.
It is also believed this week that young centre-back Bartra can be added to that list and that all three players were considered in talks between Ausilio and counterparts at Barca.
