Line-ups: Madrid-Dortmund

Cristiano Ronaldo will start for Real Madrid this evening when they face Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final of the Champions League.

The Portuguese forward missed the derby victory over Atletico Madrid at the weekend following a thigh injury.

But Jose Mourinho has deemed the attacker fit enough to take his place in the starting XI against the Bundesliga side, as they look to overturn a 4-1 deficit form the first leg.

Elsewhere, Michael Essien starts at right-back, whilst Luka Modric plays in a midfield holding position instead of Sami Khedira.

For Jurgen Klopp’s men, they name their full-strength XI as they look to make their first Champions League final in over a decade.

Real Madrid: Diego Lopez, Essien, Ramos, Varane, Coentrao;  Xabi Alonso, Modric; Di María, Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo, Higuaín

Borussia Dortmund: Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer; Bender, Gundogan; Gotze, Reus, Blaszczykowski; Lewandowski
