Ronaldo called up for Madrid

Following on from returning to full training today, Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in Real Madrid’s squad to face Borussia Dortmund.

The Portuguese was a slight doubt to make the second leg of the Champions League semi-final after sustaining a thigh injury in last week’s first leg 4-1 defeat.

However, following on from returning to training this Monday morning and his Coach describing his condition as fine, the 28-year-old has been included in the 22-man squad named for tomorrow’s game.

Full-backs Alvaro Arbeloa and Marcelo are absent through injury.

Real Madrid squad to face Borussia Dortmund: Casillas, Adan, Diego Lopez, Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrão, Carvalho, Albiol, Nacho, Khedira, Kaka, Ozil, Xabi Alonso, Essien, Modric, Callejon, Di Maria, Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Morata
