Roura: A shame we couldn’t win

Jordi Roura has admitted that it was 'a shame' Barcelona couldn't take all three points against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

Lionel Messi and Alexis Sanchez gave the Blaugrana a 2-1 lead, but a late equaliser from Ander Herrera ensured both sides went away with a point.

The assistant though, insisted that his side are getting ever close to the League title, whilst also commenting on the fitness of Messi.

“We have to take this one game at a time,” he told a Press conference.

“We'll try to win the title. It's very difficult to win away to Athletic, we had the match won and they showed us why they are hard to beat. It was a shame we couldn’t win.

“We're getting closer to our objective.

“We came to Bilbao with the objective of winning the three points and we fell just short.

“Messi is well. He's recovering as planned.”
