Barcelona are reportedly still considering options to replace Victor Valdes and have identified Fernando Muslera as another candidate.
Barca are in the market for possible reinforcements between the sticks in light of Valdes’ decision not to renew his contract beyond its June 2014 expiry and his subsequently expected exit this summer or next.
Otherwise seen in Spain as keen on Valencia’s Vicente Guaita, reports in Italy this week have suggested that La Blaugrana are interested in Inter’s Samir Handanovic.
Sky Italia now add that Galatasaray’s Muslera is another viable option and that the Catalans have already contacted the Uruguayan international to work out his availability.
