Kaka Bezerra says that Deportivo are justified in going to Real Betis this weekend targeting all three points.
The Galicians head out to the Benito Villamarin in Week 33’s Monday evening fixture on a run of five games unbeaten, which has propelled them out of the relegation zone.
Whilst Betis are pushing higher up the table for European qualification, Depor’s Brazilian defender is targeting another three points for his team.
“We are going there to win,” Kaka told reporters this week.
“We have great respect for Betis, but our goal is survival and we can win, we have the team to do so. We have demonstrated so in previous games.
“We come into this on a very good sequence of results, the atmosphere is very good and that’s important, it gives us confidence.
“With the arrival of [Coach] Fernando [Vazquez], the team grew a lot.
“When you cannot win it is important to at least pick up a point. At this stage we cannot lose more games, so the point against Athletic [last weekend] was very good for us.”
