Fernando Vazquez was pleased with his Deportivo side as they claimed a 'very important point' against Athletic Bilbao.
Bruno Gama scored in the first half for the Turcos, only for Fernando Llorente to equalise for the Basque side.
The 58-year-old though, has insisted that it was a tough game.
“We got a very important point,” he told a Press conference. “We did not compete at our usual level though.
“Athletic did not let us play our normal game.
“They played well and had a lot of the ball. We did not get together and recover well at all.
“I have to congratulate Athletic – they were impressive.”
