Mallorca Coach Gregorio Manzano has admitted that his side were lucky to get away with a draw against Rayo Vallecano.
Alfaro cancelled out Piti's early strike to give the Islanders a 1-1 draw, but the 57-year-old has conceded that his team were fortunate to get a point.
“We faced a very good opponent,” he told a Press conference. “They were comfortable and played with little fear.
“They have some quality players, so a draw is the lesser of two evils for us.
“Today we have saved ourselves for a defeat.
“There situations in football where luck favours you, and today was one of those. It was an important point.”
