Real Zaragoza have released a brief statement to communicate their faith in Coach Manolo Jimenez, despite dropping into the relegation zone.
Zaragoza slipped into 18th place in the table on Sunday evening after defeat to Barcelona extended their winless run to 14 games.
However, following on from the Coach’s assertion that he will not walk away from the situation, the club have come out in full support too.
“Real Zaragoza want to state that the board of the directors of the club have not at any time questioned the work done by the team’s Coach, Manuel Jimenez,” read the statement posted on Zaragoza’s official website on Monday night.
“Also, Real Zaragoza make clear that at this time they are maintaining full confidence in the coaching staff and the team, who are fully trained to get out of this situation, as they did last season.”
