Madrid encouraged for Pogba, Niang

Paul Pogba and M’Baye Niang’s agent has reflected on recent links to Real Madrid and suggested that neither player is currently tied down.

Reports yesterday suggested that Madrid President Florentino Perez flew out to Verona over the weekend to meet with the father of an unnamed French footballer.

Speculated as Los Blancos’ intent at making move, Italian sources suggested it was for Juventus’ Pogba, although Milan’s Niang, Sevilla’s Geoffrey Kongdogbia and Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi were all also thought as candidates.

Whilst the representative for Pogba and Niang has today confirmed that any interest from the Spanish is only speculation at this stage, he has also chosen to fuel it.

“Florentino Perez must have the wrong address…” Mino Raiola commented to Tuttosport on Tuesday.

“If you want to pick up the father of Pogba or Niang, then Perez should have sent a plane to France.

“Anyhow, if he wants those players then he has to speak to me. I’m the person that he has to negotiate with.

“Real’s interest? It’s a much wider discussion. Exceptional boys like these two are obviously going to be liked by Real. These two are liked by the whole world.

“Right now there are no contracts that can tie down a player to any club. No one, when you are admired around the globe, can be 100 per cent certain of keeping a player.”
