Deportivo have been dealt a blow with the news that centre-back Carlos Marchena has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The veteran is facing a six-week recovery period after tests today confirmed that he suffered a tear in the back of his right thigh.
Marchena, who was pulled off just after half-time at the weekend with the issue, is set to miss Depor’s final few weeks of the season in recovery.
