Barcelona trio Lionel Messi, Pedro Rodriguez and Adriano will know later today if they have passed late fitness tests to play against Paris Saint-Germain.
The trio are all back in training with the club after respective injuries, but are doubts for inclusion for Barca’s Champions League quarter-final second leg at home to PSG having not yet received medical clearance.
All three reportedly faced final fitness tests at the end of Wednesday morning’s training session and how they respond to those will indicate if they receive clearance and can feature in tonight’s game.
It is speculated that Alex Song, Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez will be the three players to deputise respectively for Adriano, Messi and Pedro, should any of them not be cleared to play or at least to start.
Tonight’s tie is balanced at 2-2 from the first leg, although Barca hold the advantage of away goals.
