Real Madrid defender Pepe has admitted that his side were caught napping against Levante on Saturday evening.
Los Blancos came from behind to defeat the Granotes 5-1 at Santiago Bernabeu, and the Portuguese centre-back has praised his teammates for their reaction – and hopes it continues into the Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
“We played well in the first half,” he told reporters. “But without speed or intensity.
“They scored, but the important thing is that the team turned it around and got a good win.
“[The match with Galatasaray] is an important one for us. With a good head, we can do it.”
