Antonio Galdeano, better known as Apono, has urged Real Zaragoza to pick up their form in order to avoid relegation.
The Aragonese have endured a torrid run of form in La Liga since the turn of the year, not winning any of their 12 League games played since the start of January.
Heading into Saturday’s trip to 20th place Deportivo just a point and three points above the relegation, Apono says that now is the time for Zaragoza to turn that form around.
“We have to give our all in the field, we cannot give up any lost ball and we must be have bite in order to accomplish this,” the midfielder told reporters before training today.
“The three points at the weekend are very important. It must be our game, we have to start winning as soon as possible and get the points needed to save us.
“It is one of Depor’s last chances. We have to be ready and be aware of how to play against them, because maybe they will be a little anxious.”
