Barca, Bayern track Kompany

Vincent Kompany’s situation at Manchester City has reportedly alerted the interest of both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The Belgian international centre-back has been suggested as one of Barca’s possible recruitments this summer previously and this week The Telegraph report they are again particularly interested.

It is seen that the Catalans have been interested since Pep Guardiola’s time in charge, and the suggestion is that they will face competition for any move made this summer from Guardiola and his new club Bayern Munich.

The two sides are seen as preparing to make a move in light of Kompany’s clash with City manager Roberto Mancini, who accused the player of going against orders last week and playing for Belgium when assessed by the club as injured.
