Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan lamented his side’s missed chances against Malaga on Wednesday evening.
The Germans shaded the play and had most of the chances, but failed to find a way through in a goalless Champions League quarter-final first leg at La Rosaleda.
We produced a good performance for an away match and created several decent chances,” surmised Gundogan at full-time.
“Mario [Gotze] had three or four and he usually puts at least one of those away.
“It wasn’t meant to be but it was also important to keep a clean sheet.”
