Lionel Messi has briefly commented on his injury news and promised to be back soon for Barcelona.
The Argentine has been given a non-specific diagnosis from Barca doctors today, after tests were carried out on an injury suffered during the first half of the team’s eventual 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final first leg last night.
With confirmation that a hamstring injury has ruled him out of the weekend match against Mallorca, but not necessarily the return match next week against PSG, Messi has briefly offered his own hope of a quick recovery.
“I’ll be back soon, luckily it was not much,” the 25-year-old wrote on his official Facebook page today.
