Weligton has told his Malaga teammates to be at their best if they want to defeat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
The Anchovies host their German counterparts in the first leg quarter-final this Wednesday evening.
“The atmosphere couldn't be better among our group,” asserted Weligton at the pre-match Press conference.
“We all know just how important this match is but we are confident. We hope to be able to play our football and get a good result.
“The best eight teams are left in the competition and now we are at that stage the games are very balanced.
“We know we will have to play the perfect game and be attentive for 90 minutes against Dortmund.
“For the city, for the fans, this is something special. But in our squad we have players and a Coach who have been here before.
“We don't live on the basis of dreams, we do so looking at the reality of the situation. We have achieved great results, great wins in this tournament.
“If there are favourites we will see who they are out on the pitch tomorrow.”
