Tito Vilanova and Jordi Roura reportedly face a choice between Alexis Sanchez and Cristian Tello to start for Barcelona tonight against Paris Saint-Germain.
With Carles Puyol, Adriano and Pedro Rodriguez absent for La Blaugrana, Barca’s starting XI for tonight’s first leg Champions League quarter-final with PSG is seen as almost set.
Jordi Alba, if passed fit, will line up alongside Dani Alves, Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano in defence, whilst Xavi Hernandez will complement Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta in midfield, if he too is declared fit.
Attack sees Vilanova reportedly set on David Villa to partner Lionel Messi, with the final decision set to be between Alexis and Tello for a right-wing role. Tello is seen as in contention after a strong performance against Celta Vigo at the weekend, whilst Alexis continues to struggle for full potential.
Meanwhile, PSG are see as close to full strength, with only Thiago Motta injured, so former Barca players Maxwell and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are expected to start.
