Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz’ form this season has reportedly caught the attention of both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.
Atleti are seen as in the market for a striker this summer, to consider possible replacements should Radamel Falcao be sold.
Yilmaz, who is the current joint top scorer in this season’s Champions League ahead of his side’s quarter-final meeting with Real Madrid and fellow top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly seen as a possible target.
The 27-year-old has 18 goals from 23 League appearances for Gala and has reportedly already been contacted by Atleti, to test the water on his availability. Similarly Chelsea are said to have come in with a €24m offer, but saw that rejected.
Yilmaz, who moved to Galatasaray last summer for €5m, is valued by club President Unal Aysal at €40m. Former club Trabzonspor will receive 25 per cent of any fee.
